What is the difference between recording an 'Unavailable' message and a 'Busy' voicemail message?

The difference between an 'unavailable' message and a 'busy' message is that the unavailable message plays when you do not pick up the call and you are not on the phone.

The busy message is played when you are already on the phone, for instance if your line is engaged.  If you wish, you can record the same message for both unavailable and busy options.

An example of a popular voicemail recording is shown below:

“Thank you for calling ABC company, unfortunately we are unable to answer your call right now.  Please leave your name and contact number and we will return your call asap.  Please note our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm".

The above recording can be used for both 'unavailable' and 'busy' voicemail recordings.
